Grown on the gentle slopes of the Lithology Estate at the base of Howell Mountain, our Sauvignon Blanc thrives in the mineral-rich volcanic soil. The vineyard, which resembles a small valley surrounded by creeks, provides a unique microclimate that allows the fruit to mature slowly, producing an elegant and refreshing wine with varying levels of depth. Aged in barrels for roundness and mouthfeel, the wine is estate bottled with an extremely limited production.

Distinguished by its mineral-rich volcanic soils and unique topography, the terroir of the Lithology Estate vineyard allows the grapes to mature slowly and develop the complex secondary and tertiary flavors coveted by wine connoisseurs worldwide. Certified organic and situated at the base of Howell Mountain and the Vaca Mountain Range, this vineyard produces wines characterized by depth, structured firm tannins, and longevity suitable for extensive cellaring.
Tasting Notes
An energetic wine with a lengthy finish, our 2023 Sauvignon Blanc presents notes of acacia, honeysuckle, lime zest, white peach, guava, and a subtle lift of salinity. A silky mouthfeel and elegant palate is complemented by bright acidity and tension, delivering freshness without sharpness and texture without weight.
