Named after Lithology's proprietor, the Alejandro Bulgheroni Cabernet Sauvignon is our flagship expression of the vintage, region, and winemaking collaboration. This 2022 vintage, featuring fruit from premier St. Helena and Oakville vineyards, was crafted by winemakers Matt Sands and Philippe Melka, with Michel Rolland joining on site for the meticulous barrel blending that shaped the final cuvée. Aromas of cassis, plum and spice give way to a thread of graphite, leading into beautifully interwoven dark fruit and herb flavors, finely polished tannins, and a hint of mineral freshness on a long, elegant finish.

Lithology works with some of Napa Valley's most distinct and esteemed vineyards. The fruit selection for this 2022 Alejandro Bulgheroni wine is 53% St. Helena and 47% Oakville, with harvesting taking place from September 3rd through September 9th.
