Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2019 Lithology Napa Valley presents with a dark garnet color saturated to the rim with variegated red hues. On the nose, this Cabernet charms your senses with aromas of coffee, tobacco, and both red and black fruit all balanced with just a hint of oak. The mouthfeel is bright and showcases a frame of acidity hung with flavors of cocoa, cranberry, and candied raspberries. There’s a base herbaceousness of sage, and fresh black olive tapenade leading to an elegant and almost mouthwatering finish of shadows of salinity and savory notes on fine tannins which seem to linger for just the right amount of time.

"Proprietor Alejandro Pedro Bulgheroni established this label in 2014...comprising beautiful rich berry scents, oak, crushed rocks and a saline minerality tinged with dark chocolate. Enveloping, full and broad-shouldered. Saturated dark berry fruit, chocolate layer cake, vanilla and dried herbs de provence round out this Cabernet with its fierce tannins that are nicely integrated." Jonathan Cristaldi
