International Wine Report

This is a captivating wine that unfolds with an alluring bouquet of aromas, dominated by luscious blueberries, ripe blackcurrants, and vibrant cassis, intertwined with sophisticated notes of tobacco, savory herbs, and a hint of spices that add depth and complexity. Underneath this aromatic tapestry, nuances of rich coffee and dark chocolate emerge, inviting further exploration. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and polished, showcasing a concentrated texture that envelops the senses. Each sip reveals layers of opulence, harmonizing the fruit and savory elements seamlessly. The finish is long and focused, leaving a lasting impression of dark fruits and subtle graphite, affirming the wine’s quality and character, making it a true standout in its class.

Vineyard

Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon provides us the opportunity to create a classic Napa Cabernet blended from top sites throughout the valley. The Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced primarily from the eastern edge of Rutherford, providing a core of dense, lush, mocha-laced dark fruit. In this vintage, for the first time, we acquired a touch of Howell Mountain Merlot from one of the highest vineyards in all of Napa Valley, adding vibrant energy and textural nuance. A touch of Cabernet Franc from Oakville adds a beguiling floral lift and notes of espresso.
